    Surprise donation to the support of volunteer Michel

    Help Each Other

    Michel, a middle aged woman, was a volunteer who volunteered to help the poor, aged and physically disabled in Hidalgo. She dedicated her entire life to helping the underprivileged categories of people in the region even when she had nothing to offer.

    Following the spread of the news about her projects, a group of friends in the region organized a campaign to support her through fundraising. They created an account with the name “SUPPORT MICHEL TO SAVE THE NEEDY”. The project’s goal was set for three months. The project goal was targeted at $300,000. Whatever amount of money collected would still be useful to her as she did not know if there was a group of people undertaking a fundraising campaign for her. Many donors got the notion of the campaign and made their pledges. In a span of three months, the project had to be extended as it had indicated an unstoppable trend. The contributions that had accumulated demonstrated a consistent flow that was very encouraging. The project was closed six months later after making almost double the amount quoted as the project goal. Michel was able to raise her campaign from a simple project to a registered organization that now influences government towards funding the underprivileged. Michel and the foundation have so far changed the lives of more than 10,000 people, many of who are orphans and abandoned aged people.
